{"id":21432,"date":"2020-11-16T13:13:32","date_gmt":"2020-11-16T09:13:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.spinvestment.com\/how-dubai-is-becoming-more-transparent-to-attract-real-estate-investors-sp-investment\/"},"modified":"2022-03-01T16:51:57","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T12:51:57","slug":"how-dubai-is-becoming-more-transparent-to-attract-real-estate-investors-sp-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.spinvestment.com\/es\/how-dubai-is-becoming-more-transparent-to-attract-real-estate-investors-sp-investment\/","title":{"rendered":"How Dubai is becoming more transparent to attract real estate investors | SP Investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/spinvestment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/How-Dubai-is-becoming-more-transparent-to-attract-real-estate-investors.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-228691 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/spinvestment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/How-Dubai-is-becoming-more-transparent-to-attract-real-estate-investors.jpg\" alt=\"How Dubai is becoming more transparent to attract real estate investors\" width=\"903\" height=\"603\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Dubai climbs the Global Real Estate Transparency Index after launching official residential index<\/h2>\n<p>Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the most transparent real estate markets in the MENA region, according to the latest Global Real Estate Transparency Index from JLL.<\/p>\n<p>The index is considered a useful indicator of a city\u2019s overall \u2018real estate investment health\u2019 and comes despite continued concerns surrounding over-supply and the ongoing economic impact caused by the global Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Dubai\u2019s increasing attractiveness as an investment hub was recognised as the emirate climbed up three places to 36th.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the most significant initiative launched in 2019, and a key contributor to Dubai\u2019s ranking, was the creation of an official residential transaction-based index, Mo\u2019asher, by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) in partnership with the private sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMo\u2019asher constitutes a potentially important step forward for Dubai, as it means the establishment of a single index that is widely used by all market participants,\u201d said Dana Salbak, head of research for JLL MENA.<\/p>\n<p>Abu Dhabi also emerged as a top performer globally, reflecting positively on the overall transparency ranking and future investment outlook.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmong the many initiatives introduced, the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment signed a pledge with the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), a financial free zone, to embed sustainable finance policies in the UAE, contributing to the emirate\u2019s ranking.
